This project, developed during a workshop, explores the relationship between architecture and water by proposing an immersive structure that engages visitors in a unique sensory experience. The objective was to design a space where water is not limited to a simple landscape element, but becomes a central player in the project, influencing both the perception of space and circulation.
The structure plays with different levels of immersion, creating varied interactions between the building and the water. Some areas are flush with the surface, offering immediate proximity to the liquid element, while others rise to offer unique viewpoints and reinforce the contemplative dimension of the space.
The use of reflective and translucent materials, combined with carefully designed openings, accentuates the play of light and reflections, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior. This approach creates a dialogue between the architecture, the water, and the environment, reinforcing the feeling of fluidity and spatial continuity.
This project was an opportunity to experiment with architectural principles linked to perception and materiality, while integrating a reflection on environmental issues and the resilience of constructions in aquatic environments.
