As part of the MiniMaousse competition, the project involved designing a cabin for the children of Sainte-Marie Primary School in Lyon, integrated into a narrative tale. Conceived as a watchtower, the multi-level structure offers children an open vantage point on the horizon and an immersive experience.
Built entirely from wood, the cabin aims to raise awareness among young users about ecology and eco-friendly construction while showcasing traditional craftsmanship. Inspired by medieval construction techniques, it incorporates arches with voussoirs, creating oblique forces that enhance its stability and unique character.
An embedded climbing wall diversifies circulation and encourages playful interaction. The cabin is painted black, referencing the story in which it is marked by fire, reinforcing its narrative dimension. This project, my latest rendered work, allowed me to explore new visual approaches using a graphic tablet, refining both conceptual and visual representation.
